Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County, Missouri
For the 30 plus years of their existence, EITAS role has been primarily to fund services to persons with developmental disabilities. Traditionally they have been the funder of last resort, covering the costs of services, facilities, and equipment that are not paid for or funded by other sources, such as Medicaid, the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Health and Senior Services, or the First Steps program.
The EITAS mission is to interpret and implement Jackson County’s enabling legislation to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
EITAS shall support and advocate for the dignity of persons with developmental disabilities, respect their choices, increase their opportunities, encourage their independence, and assist their efforts at full community integration.
EITAS will act as a responsible steward for funds, received from Jackson County taxpayers or other funding sources.
Therap Services
Therap Services, LLC. is a web-based service organization that provides an integrated solution for documentation and communication needs of agencies providing support to people with disabilities, especially developmental disabilities. It offers an easy and efficient alternative to the immense amount of paper work that is done manually by the care providers.
