The Building a Better Tomorrow: Best Practices in Supporting People with Developmental Disabilities conference will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 10-12, 2008, at the Sheraton Kansas City Sports Complex. This promises to be an outstanding, reasonably priced opportunity to network, learn from one another and share what is working well. This is your chance to professionally rejuvenate yourself while learning new and better ways to do the meaningful, important work in which we all engage.

We look forward to seeing you, sharing our experiences, and learning what best practices you are using in supporting people who experience intellectual disabilities as we all work together to build a better tomorrow.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

On a summer evening in June, the air is fragrant with the aroma of buttered popcorn, the emerald field is freshly mown, the baselines are crisp and white, and the season is still full of hope. It's time for baseball.

Join us as we watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Texas Rangers at beautiful Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, just a short walk from the Sheraton Hotel.

It's a great way to relax, make some new friends, and enjoy the great American pastime of baseball.
